Dr. Nick Meier is a Palmer graduate and veteran of the U.S. Army Band who brings a deep appreciation for precision and structure into his chiropractic care. He practices exclusively using the Gonstead Method—a biomechanically sound, x-ray-guided technique known for its safety, specificity, and effectiveness—avoiding unnecessary twisting or rotation during adjustments.
In addition to spinal and extremity adjustments, Dr. Meier incorporates soft tissue therapies and rehabilitative strategies to help patients address the underlying causes of their pain. Whether it’s from repetitive daily movements, posture imbalances, or chronic joint conditions, he works with patients to identify harmful patterns and restore function.
As someone with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) in his family, Dr. Meier is uniquely aware of the challenges patients face navigating musculoskeletal symptoms, proprioceptive dysfunction, and systemic fatigue. He is listed on the Ehlers-Danlos Society provider directory and frequently collaborates with complex-care patients.
When not in the office, Dr. Meier serves as a Jane Ambassador, helping other providers make the most of their EMR.
He’s proud to offer thoughtful, science-driven care at Meier Family Chiropractic in Urbandale.
